The film is a mainstream movie based on a well-known comic book and it is produced by Matthew Vaughn, he was also the person that had created X-Men: First Class and Stardust
Storylines Introduced
In the film's opening we learn that a young boy called Dave Lisweski is quite bored being retired as a hero so he then begins to train with Hitgirl as he sees her the person who could make him a proper superhero. Also another storyline introduced in the  movie is that Hitgirl also known as Mindy Macready is going to school as a normal human being since her dad died in the prequel of this film. Minutes after her arrieval we see that Mandy is feeling school so she opts to call a taxi and go back to the hideout that her and her dad went to when they were superheroes. The next day Mindy attempts to go school again but then later calls a taxi expectedly, Dave tails her tot taxi and offers to go wherever she's going.

The main characters are:

Dave Lisweski
Mindy Macready
Chris D'Amico
Detective Marcus Williams

 Clark Duke

Social groups introduced to the films opening sequence are young adults that are quite rebellious and also heroic adults represented too.

Adult Interactions
In the start of the film the teenagers are quite respectful to adults that are shown in the movie but there isn't really much of them in the movie as it's targeted at older teenagers.

Mise En Scene
The key locations used are various rooms in the high school, the streets and also the main characters bedroom. Prison cells are also frequently shown in the movie.
The key props in he film are quite violent weapons such as guns, swords, traders and also blades etc. The props are quite significant to the plot and the movie because it creates a contrast of the good and of the bad people in the film. Furthermore kick-ass uses swords which tells us that he's a character that likes to defend against the enemies.
Lightening is very easy to recognise throughout the movie. The reason why I say this because when the camera is shown on 'Chris Amico' or the limo scene in the film they have a dark lightening to outline something dark is going to happen.
