Before the title begin there is an introduction to the film as the two main characters on the beach talking about their last day because they've got to go back to australia. During the film they are soon reunited.

the boys are very overconfident with the teachers, for example answering back and joking around as if they are friends. This is expected due to their social group within the school.

as it is a musical there was a lot of catchy songs used through out the film with portrayed emotions and feelings. The characters all have the same accents of american except the new girl Sandy who has a clear British accent. 

Mise en scene?

natural lightening was used as most of the film was filmed outside, inside lightening wa used in some parts of the film but was still natural looking. Around the boys there was dark colours and the girl had mostly bright and pink colours. The locations was mainly at school, a drive through cinema and a cafe. Main props were the colours of clothes to separate the two genders. 

What did you like about the film?

In grease i enjoyed the songs as it gave the audience a positive vibe while watching the play. Even watching it the first time you wanted to join in with the songs even if you didn't know the lyrics. You automatically feel very involved.
