What is an audience?
an audience is a group of people who watch the same thing e.g. film, play, music event etc
How do we define a target audience?
find out information on your audience to see what type of people like it. For example if a certain age group is popular or people who live in the same country are interested in your film. You can do this by speaking to customers, requesting feedback and run surveys.
Why is it useful for a film to have a target audience?
It is useful for a film to have a target audience because it is helpful to plan advertising which saves money.
Which audiences do you think teen dramas appeal to?
I think teen drama's will appeal to teenagers because that it their primary audience, also it will have the lifestyle of teenagers in the film which attracts the audience. Mainly teenagers around 15-19 will watch teen dramas. I think most girls will want to watch the genre.
